I am an enthusiastic and dedicated individual with a deep commitment to the field of nursing. My journey in healthcare began when my mother was diagnosed with breast cancer when I was 16; this led me to a genuine passion for helping others. I started my career in 2010, when I graduated from the LPN program at Western Dakota Technical Institute. I worked in Dermatology for most of those years and decided to further my education a year ago obtaining my RN degree. If that wasn’t enough, I thought why not continue with my education journey. I’m currently enrolled in a bridge program to obtain my master’s in nursing in Administration and Leadership. With a 13-year background in nursing, I have gained valuable experience. I have honed my clinical skills, developed a keen sense of empathy, and learned the importance of interdisciplinary collaboration in providing holistic patient care. My academic journey has equipped me with a solid foundation in nursing theory, evidence-based practice, and critical thinking. These experiences have shaped my understanding of the challenges and rewards inherent in the nursing profession.

Outside of my professional endeavors, I enjoy spending time with my husband, two boys, and our Bernadoodle, Ms. Stella. We like to camp and take our razor out in the hills. These activities not only contribute to my personal growth but also reinforce the importance of maintaining a balanced and fulfilling life.
